In a bold move, Palantir, the software giant co-founded by Peter Thiel, has announced an initiative to address the rising issue of antisemitism on college campuses. The company expressed its commitment to defending the principles of democratic rule and condemned narrow thinking, fear, skepticism, and outright bigotry. Palantir called attention to the “egregious levels of antisemitism in our society,” particularly within elite educational institutions.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Palantir revealed its initiative to provide opportunities within the company for students facing antisemitism on college campuses. The post stated that some organizations appear structurally incapable of reforming themselves in the face of antisemitism. It emphasized that students, who fear for their safety on campus due to antisemitism, are welcome to join Palantir, with the company setting aside 180 positions for them immediately.

Alex Karp, co-founder and CEO of Palantir, highlighted the company’s commitment to Western values, emphasizing transparency, fairness, and the protection of civil liberties. Karp referenced the recent testimony of university presidents regarding antisemitism on campus, criticizing their inability to condemn genocidal rhetoric while restricting free speech.

Speaking on FOX Business’ “The Claman Countdown,” Karp stressed the importance of standing up for values and countering destructive ideologies. He expressed concern about a new, highly destructive religion influencing elite students, stating that those who are considered progressive must speak up.

This announcement from Palantir comes in the wake of Karp’s recent critique at the Reagan National Defense Forum, where he called out companies for their failure to stand up against those who are anti-American. He specifically named Booz Allen, Anduril Industries, and Palantir as the three companies that have publicly supported Israel.

Karp urged business leaders to do better, emphasizing the need for a shift in corporate attitudes. He criticized the perception that making money takes precedence over standing up for principles, calling for a change in the corporate elite’s approach.

Palantir’s initiative to offer opportunities to students affected by antisemitism reflects a proactive stance in addressing a pressing issue on college campuses, aligning with the company’s commitment to democratic values and societal well-being.
